Professor Falola Calls for Integration of Ancestral Science in Modern Development at KNUST Public Lecture

Renowned African historian and scholar Professor Toyin Falola has urged African nations to integrate ancestral science and indigenous knowledge systems into contemporary development strategies.

He made the call during a public lecture organized by the Faculty of Social Sciences at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST),Kumasi themed “Ancestral Science and Technology for Modern Development.”

Strategic Purchasing Africa Resource Center in collaboration with the KNUST

The Strategic Purchasing Africa Resource Center (SPARC) in collaboration with the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) held a policy dialogue to discuss the strategic health purchasing in Ghana in December 2021. The dialogue sought to bring together major stakeholders in the delivery of health services as well as experts in academia and policy formulation. These major stakeholders were from the Ministry of Health, the Ghana Health Service, the National Health Insurance Agency, the Private Health Facilities of Ghana, and the Christian Health and Association of Ghana.
