Prof. George Bob-Milliar appointed Joint Editor of prestigious African Affairs journal

The London-based Royal African Society (RAS) has appointed Prof. George M. Bob-Milliar as the new editor for its flagship journal.  The “African Affairs” is the most prestigious and oldest African Studies journal. Prof. Bob-Milliar, an Associated Professor and the Director of the Centre for Cultural and African Studies at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, becoming the second African/Ghanaian to edit the 120-year-old mainstream international journal which is published by Oxford University Press.

The Faculty of Social Sciences Welcomes a Record 10 New Professors

The Faculty of Social Sciences has welcomed a record ten (10) newly promoted Associate Professors. The Dean, Prof. Sr. Eugenia Ampofo congratulated the new Associate Professors and encouraged them to support their colleagues in climbing the academic ladder, and help strengthen the Faculty’s teaching, research and service to community. The new Professors were from a range of Departments, comprising five (5) from Geography and Rural Development, two (2) from Sociology and Social Work, two (2) from Religious Studies, and one (1) from Economics.
